She was predeceased by: her husband James Aycoth (Jim); her daughter Lynn Aycoth Harris; her parents, Joseph Williams and Macie Hooks Williams; and her siblings, Joe (Helen), Turner (Louise), Jimmy (Jean), Alvin (Venetia), Lillian Bussells (Billy), Ellen Zeitler (Wilson), Mary Miller (Pete) and Linda Forbis (Richard).

She is survived by: her son John Aycoth (Lisa) of Indian Trail, NC; her son-in-law Eric (Karen) of Alpharetta, GA.; her grandchildren, Zoe Harris Lu (Kevin), Bayne Harris (Gracie), Cameron Laine Aycoth and Donald James "Jake" Aycoth; and her great grandchildren, Owen Lu and Jayce Harris. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the McEwen Funeral Service- Mint Hill Chapel (7428 Matthews-Mint Hill Rd, Mint Hill, NC 28227). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
