He was predeceased by: his parents, Rosebour Milroy and Alma Christenbury Henderson; his wife Geneva "Nita" Henderson; his daughter Linda Hylton; and his siblings, Felix Henderson and Juanita Pinyan.
He is survived by: his sister Charlene McWhirter; and his children, Michael Henderson (Brenda), Pat Barker (Steve) and Scott Henderson. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
