With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Valeria Gerbasi of Cornelius, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 24, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Denn and Clara Denn; her son Larry Gerbasi; and her brother Donald Denn (Teresa). She is survived by: her husband Robert Gerbasi; her daughters, Cathy Strassburg (late Gerald) and Geraldine Palillo (Jake); her siblings, Dick Schmit (Joann), Bob Schmit (Genny) and Rita Michaels (Dave); her grandchildren, Jamie (Jonathon), Rachelle (Jesse), Jake (Amanda), Brandi (Brock), Briana and Gabrielle; and her great grandchildren, Hunter, Riley, Ayla, Reese, Cameryn, Jacob, Averi, Saylor and Blaine.
