She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel J. Bowen and Vanner Ann Smith Bowen; her husband Edward Rowland Hinson; her children, Eddie Hinson, Vanessa Bailey and Cheryl Ann Hinson; and her sisters, Louise Sellers, Hilda Bullard, Linda Merritt and Margaret Woodell.
She is survived by: her daughter Patsy Marie Prevatte (Sammy) of Council; her grandchildren, Cameron Hinson, Lindsey Hinson, Garland Prevatte and Jacob Bailey; and her nieces, Wanda K. Jackson and Elizabeth Rabon. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
