He is survived by: his wife Kristie Marie Wetherington; his mother Evelyn Wells Drake of Cove City; his brothers, Jerry Wetherington (Phyllis) of Cove City and Billy Drake (Beverly) of Vanceboro; and his children, Bradley Wetherington of New Bern, Brandon Wetherington of Roanoke Rapids, Jacob Tripp of Cove City and Susanna Tripp of Cove City. He is also survived by several grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.
