He is survived by: his mother Mari Slaughter (Jim); his girlfriend Nina Nazem; his grandmothers, Josephine Moss and Nellie Slaughter; his brother Shawn Pearson (Heather); his aunts and uncles, Earl Leonard, Tim Leonard (Joyce), Rachael Miller-Whitworth, Joy Setzer, Sandy Moss, Donna Goforth (Danny) and Mickey Moss; his nieces and nephews, Jordan, Jaxon Slaughter, Lindzey Smith (Nick) and Lakota Cook; his cousins, Rhema (Brad), Jessica, Izzy, Mike, Zach, Uma, Shae, Beth, Trent and Shannon; and his close friends, Steven Wyatt, Ian Wilson and Josh Wall.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 from 1:30 PM to 2:45 PM at the McLean Funeral Directors of Gastonia (700 S New Hope Rd, Gastonia, NC 28054). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Founders Chapel of McLean Funeral Directors (700 S New Hope Rd, Gastonia, NC 28054).
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Parkwood Church Benevolence Fund or their Crisis Assistance.
