She was predeceased by: her parents, William Edward King and Dorothy Ann Newcomb; and her grandmother Flossie Newcomb. She is survived by: her son William Jeffrey Thompson (Stephanie Rose Brown); her grandchildren, Haley Elizabeth Thompson and William Jeffrey Thompson Jr. "J. J."; and her close friend Lynn Adcock.
