It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Allen Hockaday of Creedmoor, North Carolina, who passed away on June 16, 2022, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his father Willoughby Allen Hockaday Jr.; his brothers, Robert Lee Hockaday and Richard Dennis Hockaday; and his parents-in-law, Earl Bowman Moss and Margaret Clayton Moss.

He is survived by : his wife Susan Moss Hockaday; his daughters, Tracy Aiken (Brandon) of Creedmoor and Teri Brooks (Brent) of Creedmoor; his grandchildren, Kaylee Lynn Aiken, Madyson Paige Brooks and Ty Joseph Brooks; his sister Shirley Lane (Allan); and his sister-in-law Donna Taylor Hockaday. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews and special friends.
