He was predeceased by : his daughter Kathy Warren Tucker; his parents, James Warren and Katherine Warren; and his parents-in-law, Dave and Annie Laura Ashworth.

He is survived by : his wife Gail Ashworth Warren; his daughter Ashley Warren Harrell (Lee); his grandchildren, Bailey Harrell (Monica) of Oxford, Paige Harrell of Oxford, Laura Grace Tucker and Riggan Tucker of Robersonville, NC; his brothers, Mark Warren (Pam) of Grifton, NC and Ernest Warren (Jackie) of Wilmington, NC; and his sister-in-law Brenda Ashworth Gardziel of Woodbridge, VA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
