It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Wey Van Duyn of Creedmoor, North Carolina, who passed away on January 19, 2026, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Abram Duyn and Ruth Van Duyn; and his brother Roy Samuel Van Duyn. He is survived by: his wife Gwen; his sons, Wynn (Aleshia), Gerret (Tammy) and Jason (Meredith); his granddaughters, Hannah, Sarah, Lillian and Katherine; and his siblings, Rhelda Van Duyn Losco and William Bayles Van Duyn. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
