With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jonathan Mixon of Creedmoor, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 5, 2025 at the age of 68. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Mixon and Alta Mixon; and his brother William. He is survived by: his wife Janie Mixon; his sons, Kevin Mixon (Jaime) of Corpus Christi, TX and Christopher Mixon of Creedmoor, NC; his brothers, George "Neil" Mixon (Evelyn) of Chesapeake, VA and Kent Mixon (Deborah) of Durham, NC; his granddaughter Brianna McClellan of Wake Forest, NC; and his nieces and nephews, Kim Mills, Jeff Mixon (Amanda), Kristi Nobers (Justin), William Mixon (Lisa Amundson) and Robert Mixon (Kate). He is also survived by five grand nieces and nephews, and innumerable cousins.
