It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mayola Weaver of Creedmoor, North Carolina, who passed away on August 1, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Noah Ervin Batchelor and Martha Ann Mullen Batchelor; her husband James Patrick Weaver; her siblings, Delenia Lewis, Ilene McGeachy, Bernard Batchelor, Marshall Batchelor and Paul Batchelor; and her son-in-law Jimmie Stephenson.
She is survived by: her children, Linda W. Bullock (Ty), Jo Ann W. Stephenson, Angela W. Russell (Johnnie), James Earl Weaver (Charlonia), Donnie Ray Weaver (Geneva) and Roy D. Weaver (Joette); her grandchildren, Kristy Kucel (Derek), Emily Bullock, Blake Bullock, Melissa Brown (Jeremy), David Stephenson (Kassie Keith), Amanda Brewer (BJ), Joshua Weaver, Abigail Wheeler (Nick), Lindsay Russell (Brad Bouquio), Hillary Carter (Julius) and Whitney Merritt (Josh); and her sister Alice B. Berry. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other extended family.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Sossamon Funeral Home - Creedmoor (834 N Main St, Creedmoor, NC 27522). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Carolina Memorial Gardens (102 Moss Rd, Creedmoor, NC 27522).
