We announce the death of Phillip Alan Mitchell Jr. of Creedmoor, North Carolina, born in Durham, North Carolina, who passed away on July 17, 2026, at the age of 41. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Willian Andrew, Jessie Clayton Mitchell and Gerald Grant Payne. He is survived by: his parents, Phillip Alan Mitchell (Peggy) and Kristine "Kristi" Payne Blalock (Tim); his brother Jordan Lance Mitchell; his grandmother Barbara Payne; his nephew William Mitchell; and his stepsisters, Courtney Lemaire and Megan Blalock. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
