She was predeceased by: her parents, William Thomas Roberts and Mary Ruth Jones; and her siblings, Gloria Land and William Thomas "Tommy" Roberts Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Carlton "Butch" Gooch; her daughters, Brandi Gooch Hasty (Josh) and Candice Gooch (Tim Eccles); and her siblings, Rita Williams (Alton) and Michael Roberts (Merilee). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Community Methodist Church (409 W E St, Butner, NC 27509). A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Mountain Lion Foundation, Defenders of Wildlife, or the Granville County ASPCA.
