He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter J. Bennett, Jr. and Lillie B. Veasey Bennett; his brother Jimmy; and his nephew Jim. He is survived by: his wife Camilla; his brother Gary (Cathy); his brother-in-law Darrell Royster (Diane); his nephew Eric Royster (Julie); and his niece Ashley Keith (Trey).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Sossamon Funeral Home (834 N Main St, Creedmoor, NC 27522). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Sossaman Funeral Home.
