It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Jones of Creston, North Carolina, who passed away on March 28, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joan Jones to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her husband Howard Jones; her parents, Joseph Spencer and Eula Jackson Stephens; her son James Roy Jones; her grandson Eric Presnell; and her siblings, Clayton Stephens, Jack Stephens, Joe Stephens, Francis Graham, Celeste Oliver and Carl Stephens.

She is survived by : her children, Stephen Jones (Debbie) of Zionville, Jeffrey Jones (Bobbi) of Hickory, Terry Allen Jones (Kelly) of Hickory, Karen Haar (John) of Concord, Donna Harris of Creston and Lorraine Presnell of Valdese; and her siblings, Wilma Gambill of Creston and Thomas Stephens of Creston. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
