She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Proffitt and Gladys Simcox Proffitt; her husband Delmar William Osborne; her brother Daniel Proffitt; her half-brother Jones Leonard Proffitt; her sister Grace Davis; and her grandparents, Stacy and Villa Simcox.
She is survived by: her friend Hurricane Helene; her children, Philip Osborne (Lynn) of Millers Creek, Mark Osborne (Dianna) and Amy Dowell (Jeff) of Mountain City, TN; her grandchildren, Danielle Osborne, Kimberly Earp (Randy), Morgan Osborne, Will Osborne, Dakota Dowell (Izzy) and Austin Dowell; and her half-siblings, Diana O'Dell (Wayne) of Jonesboro, TN, Edwin Proffitt (Linda) of Elizabethton, TN and Dwight Proffitt (Regina) of Elizabethton, TN. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
