In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Steven leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Steven may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Bruce and Tressie Lewis Roark; and his brother Gary Roark. He is survived by: his siblings, Kathy McNeil, Donna Tester, Sandra Bumgarner, Dannie Roark and Lewis Roark; and his daughter Alicia Roark. He is also survived by two grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A graveside service was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Mountain View Church Cemetery (718 Barlow Rd, Creston, NC 28615).
