He was predeceased by: his parents, Baxter Farmer and Tressie Farmer; and his siblings, Herbert, Hubert, Allen, Ivan, Maxine and Chessie.
He is survived by: his sister Janice Greer of Kannapolis; his wife Linda Greer Farmer; his children, Keith Farmer of Tennessee and Sarah Goodman (Tony) of Jefferson; and his grandchildren, Tucker and Emma Goodman. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
