It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gelacia Macedo Toledo of Creswell, North Carolina, who passed away on October 27, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Eduardo Macedo and Marciana Toledo; her spouse Bernave Gutierrez; her sons, Camilo Gutierrez Macedo and Juan Gutierrez Macedo; and her siblings, Eulogio Lara and Maria Toledo.
She is survived by: her children, Bernave Gutierrez Macedo of Creswell, Bertoldo Gutierrez Macedo of Sandford, Artemio Gutierrez Macedo (Guadalupe) of Creswell and Patricia Gutierrez Macedo (Oscar) of Creswell; and her siblings, Zantos Lara of Ciudad de Mexico, Tomaza Alvarado of Florida and Elvira Lara of Florida.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM. A reception will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM.
