She was predeceased by: her husband Preston Woodley Sexton; her parents, Milton Phelps and Alethia Allen Phelps; her son Tony Sexton; and her siblings, Ethel Overton, Mildred Nadeau, Milton Harold Phelps, Sid Phelps, Harry Thomas Phelps and Jerry Lee Phelps.
She is survived by: her sons, Ricky Sexton of Creswell, NC and Bart Sexton of Goldsboro, NC; her grandchildren, Stetson Sexton (Alexis), Justin Sexton (Traci), Jordan Sexton (Gabby), Jared Sexton and Presley Sexton; her siblings, Mary Coburn, John Phelps (Peggy) and Larry Wayne Phelps (Cindy); and her sisters-in-law, Shirley Phelps and Ruth Phelps. She is also survived by four great grandchildren.
