It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Eugene Davis Sr. of Crouse, North Carolina, who passed away on April 8, 2026, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Carlson Davis and Bessie Allran Davis; his wife Betty Carolyn Elmore Davis; and his siblings, Helen Reid, Mary Belle Milburn, George Davis, Harry Davis and John Davis.
He is survived by: his children, Debbie Heafner (Willie) of Crouse, Ted Davis (Kim) of Troutman, Eddie Davis (Robin) of Belmont and Joe Avery (Gina) of Crouse; his grandchildren, Luke Heafner (Elizabeth), Logan Heafner, Bryan Davis and Ash Davis (Jess); and his great grandchildren, Jade Davis, Anita Heafner, Macy Ann Heafner and Carr Eugene Heafner. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
