William Poston Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Poston of Crouse, North Carolina, who passed away on June 12, 2025 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Everette Howard and Ruth Wood Poston. He is survived by: his sons, William "Zach" Poston (Peyton) and Nicholas "Nick" Poston (Clare); his siblings, Ed Poston (Lynn), Steve Poston (Pam), Jane Bumgarner and Jean Morgan; and his grandchildren, Noah Poston and Teddy Poston.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Carpenter-Porter Funeral & Cremation Services (1100 E Main St, Cherryville, NC 28021). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Marvin United Methodist Church Cemetery (2731 Startown Rd, Lincolnton, NC 28092).
