He is survived by : his children, Stephanie E. Robinson of Durham, NC and McDaniel "Mac" Robinson Jr. (Sheila) of Spruce Pine, NC; his grandchildren, Danielle McCool (Seth) of Spruce Pine, NC, Sarah Robinson of Waynesville, NC, Ben Robinson of Spruce Pine, NC, Will and Jack; and his great grandchild Kade McCool of Spruce Pine, NC..
