She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Woodring and Jewell Bentley Woodring. She is survived by: her husband Steve Houston; her daughter Angie Moffitt (Randy); her grandchildren, Brittany Hall (Anthony), Wade Moffitt, Colton Mathes, Logan Mathes, Noah Mathes and Lainey Hall; and her sister Vera Smith (Ron).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Yellow Mountain Baptist Church (34 Mill Creek Rd, Cullowhee, NC 28723). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 at the Stewart Cemetery (399 Stewart Cemetary Rd, Cullowhee, NC 28723).
