She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Leach and Corinthia Leach; her husband Charlie Beard of Kentucky; and her brothers, Ernest Leach Jr., Charles Leach, Roy Leach and Terry Leach of North Carolina.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kathy White-Jones, Bridget White and Kimberly White-Flowers of North Carolina; and her brothers, Bobby Leach of Maine and Robert Leach of Philadelphia. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren, along with other family and friends.
