He is survived by : his wife Saralou; his children, Meri Battles (Rick) and David Whitacre (Melina); and his grandchildren, Justin Freeman (Crystal), Robert Meaux, Angela Meaux, Heather Meaux, Blandena Villanueva (Miguel), Steven Whitacre (Whitney), Ricky Price, Olivia Price and Robbie Price. He is also survived by twenty-one great grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren; multiple nieces, nephews, and friends.
