She was predeceased by: her husband Henry Capers. She is survived by: her children, Darrien Johnson, Etta Kea, Ebony Kea and Chasity Kea; and her siblings, Gloria Kea, Myrtis Lynn Manigo, Frederick Kea, Raynard Kea, Michael Odell Kea and Charles Kea. She is also survived by extended family and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Capers' Residence (6743 Canetuck Rd, Currie, NC 28435). Viewing will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dunn Funeral Home Chapel (810 W Wilmington St, Burgaw, NC 28425). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Canetuck Missionary Baptist Church (5922 Canetuck Rd, Currie, NC 28435).
