She was predeceased by: her parents, William Ross and Maude Edith Jordan Robbins. She is survived by: her husband Jimmy Hodges; her daughter Jeannie Whitaker; her grandson Joseph Scott Whitaker; and her siblings, Larry, Ann, Margaret and Betty.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the McLean Funeral Directors of Gastonia (700 S New Hope Rd, Gastonia, NC 28054).
