She is survived by: her son Lamar Walker (Sandy); her grandchildren, Tammy Whelchel (Michael) and Nathan Walker (Paige); her stepgrandchildren, Nicci Cabaniss (Scott) and Josh Sharpe (Leslie); and her sisters, Annette Cooke of Greensboro, NC and JoAnne Luckadoo of Rocky Mount, NC..
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Eastside Baptist Church (1165 Wyke Rd, Shelby, NC 28150). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
