With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John James Presley Black (Dallas, North Carolina), born in Gaston, North Carolina, who passed away on February 12, 2024 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, John Black and Fannie Black; his wife Judy Black; and his sister Francis Medford. He is survived by : his daughters, Regina Pressley (Joe), Lisa Turner (Richard) and Leah Messer (Larry); and his sister Joyce Lingerfelt (Helen Skelton). He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
