It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kaye Hovis Gribble of Dallas, North Carolina, who passed away on July 28, 2025, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bonnie Hovis and Keith Hovis; and her sister Faye Paxton. She is survived by: her husband Michael Gribble of Dallas; her children, Donna (Chuck Clayton) of Roswell, Georgia and Michael (Emily Gribble) of Charlotte; her brother Sam Hovis; her sibling's children, Donnie Self, Katie Quiring, Matthew Hovis, Tyler, Travis Cloninger and Brittany Hishon; and also, Ansley, Meredith, Adam, Caroline, Mary and David Shelton. She is also survived by her seven grandchildren and one great-grandson.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Alexis Baptist Church (118 Alexis Church Rd, Alexis, NC 28006). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
