With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Larry James Chastain Sr. of Dallas, North Carolina, who passed away on February 8, 2024 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Ray John Chastain and Margie Elizabeth Pope; his wife Margaret Hilton Chastain; and his siblings, Homer Chastain, Jerry Chastain, David Chastain, Tommy Chastain and Linda Miller.
He is survived by : his children, Larry Chastain, Jr. (Laura), Debbie Bridges (Steve), Loretta Towery (Bobby) and Donna Gosnell (Bobby); his brothers, Bobby Chastain (Lisa) and John "Pebbles" Chastain (Jackie); and his brother-in-law Tony Hilton (Juanita). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation may be made to American Cancer Association or toHospice of Gaston County.
