He is survived by: his son Todd Nickel (Keely) of Dallas; his granddaughters, Calissa (Levi) and Macey (Tanner); and his siblings, Marge Reinhart of Genoa, Jack Nickel (Wanda) of Tiffin and Nancy Bertram (Jeff) of St. Augustine, Florida..
