It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sidney Dean Mitchell (Dallas, North Carolina), born in Gaston, North Carolina, who passed away on August 31, 2025, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerry Isaac Mitchell, Sr. and Karen Houser Mitchell; and his sister Sharon Marliese Lowrimore. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Austin Mitchell, Blake Mitchell, Jett Wilkinson of JoAnna Wilkinson, C. W, Clippard and Hadley Dean Clippard; his wife Cindy Pasour Mitchell; his daughter Lindsey Wooten (Jonathan); and his siblings, Jerry Isaac Mitchell, Jr. and Susan Murphy (George). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
