He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Walters, and Effie May Walters, Sr.; his wife Jeanine Millsaps Walters; his daughter Amy Lynn Walters; and his brother Arnold B. Walters.
He is survived by: his children, William P. Walters, Jr. (Aimee), David Walters and Tonya Walters Bell (Jeffrey); his grandchildren, Aubree Bell Williams (Gary), Taylor Walters, Ethan Walters, Breanna Roberts, Brandon Stowe, Baleigh Stowe and Rylan Walters; his great grandchildren, Kellin Cable, Zayne Petty and Naomi Petty; and his brothers, Paul Walters, Jr. and Kenneth A. Walters (Francis). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Calendar Gaston Baptish Church (504 S Gaston St, Dallas, NC 28034). A memorial service was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Gaston Baptist Church (504 S Gaston St, Dallas, NC 28034).
