She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Hubbard and Beatrice Owens Hubbard; her husband Bobby Short; and her siblings, Roma Yvonne Hubbard, Sammy Hubbard and Harold Hubbard.
She is survived by: her daughter Sandra; her son-in-law Todd Steiss of Davidson; her siblings, Reatha Culbertson of Colonial Heights, VA, Charlene Sargent of Norton, VA, Cecil Hubbard of Lanham, MD and Donna Hall of Roanoke, VA; her grandchildren, Robert Steiss (Max) and Ryan Steiss (Holly); and her pets, Louie and Bea. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
