She is survived by: her mother Dorothy Gill McAulay; her husband James Grubbs Martin, Sr.; her children, James Grubbs Martin, Jr., Emily Martin Richey and Arthur Benson Martin; her grandchildren, Kathren Downing McAulay Martin, James Grubbs Martin, III, Carter Gill Richey, Rosalie Adele Richey and Leo Barrett Martin; and her pet Daisy.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Davidson College Presbyterian Church (100 N Main St, Davidson, NC 28036). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 3:00 PM to 3:45 PM at the Davidson College Cemetery (544 N Main St, Davidson, NC 28036).
