With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elaine Borders of Davidson, North Carolina, who passed away on June 26, 2024 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Elaine's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Elaine has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Stokes Gallimore and Doris Jones Gallimore of High Point, NC; and her son David of Columbia, SC. She is survived by: her husband Elzie Borders; her children, Paul Borders (Katherine) of Mt Pleasant, SC and Laura Borders Owen (Mike) of Huntersville, NC; her daughter-in-law Jennie Ginis Borders of Columbia, SC; and her sister Helen Gallimore Ray (Graham) of Greensboro, NC. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and one great grandchild.
