It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth Harrington Zavitz of Davidson, North Carolina, born in Greensboro, North Carolina, who passed away on October 24, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis C. Harrington and Pauline L. Harrington of Greensboro, NC; and her sister-in-law Norma J. Harrington of Fort Walton Beach, FL.. She is survived by: her children, Richard Shea (Estela) of Round Rock, TX, Greg Shea (Tammy) of Lenoir, NC, Chuck Shea (Mary) of Harrisburg, NC and Sandra Paullin (Pat) of Charlotte, NC.; her grandchildren, Michelle Shea of Killeen, TX, Richard Shea III of Austin, TX, Courtney Marshall (Jeremiah) of Lenoir, NC and Calistia Shea of Lenoir, NC.; and her brothers, Francis Cole Harrington, Jr. of Fort Walton Beach, FL and C. David Harrington (Charlotte) of Julian, NC.. She is also survived by three sons, one daughter, and their spouses; four grandchildren; two brothers; and many nieces and nephews.
