It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn Tharp of Davidson, North Carolina, born in Augusta, Georgia, who passed away on June 15, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Hilliard Thompson and Grace Pughsley Thompson; her husband Jack; and her daughter Nancy Tharp Walker. She is survived by: her daughters, Margaret Tharp Mueller (Greg) and Frances Pauline Tharp; her grandchildren, Fran Pughsley, Gregory Mueller and Evelyn "Evie" Walker McMahan (Ryan) of Mooresville, NC; her great grandchildren, Walker, Thomas McMahan, Bransen, Jack and Braylen; and her sister Barbara Meadows. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
