She was predeceased by: her parents, Parmenus Jackson and Lura Frances Christopher; her husband Edward Dykes Rushing; and her brother Phillip Nelson Christopher. She is survived by: her brother James Jackson Christopher; and her children, Shannon Rushing Oruska (Mike), Fran Rushing Petzold (Bruce), Christie Rushing Davies (Eric) and David Dykes Rushing (Mary). She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and many beloved nieces, nephews and friends.
