He was predeceased by: his father George Mackey. He is survived by: his brothers, Thomas Mackey, John Mackey and Andrew Mackey; his wife Sharon Kirkwood; his children, George Kirkwood (Teresa), Richard Kirkwood (DeDe) and Denise Temple (Tracy); and his stepchildren, Keri O'Neil and Brian Blasing. He is also survived by several grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
