She was predeceased by: her parents, John Lee Wiles and Effie Elizabeth Spivey; her spouse Rev. Van Ellis Brinkley; her sister Elizabeth Marie Wiles Saunders; and her niece Maureen Saunders Peake.
She is survived by: her daughter Vanjie Shaver (Charles) of Morganton; her granddaughter Gabriana Taveniere (Hunter); her great grandchildren, Preston, Colt and Grayson; her nephew Timothy Greene (Tandy) of Asheboro; and her pet Princess.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the J. C. Green and Sons Funeral Home Chapel (122 W Main St, Thomasville, NC 27360).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to First Baptist Church of Thomasville, 8 Cramer Street, Thomasville, NC 27360.
