We are sad to announce that on January 28, 2021, at the age of 75, Janice Hooks of Davidson, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, James Lloyd Hicks and Helen Boling Hicks. She is survived by: her husband Jim Hooks; her children, Rusty Hooks, Chad Hooks (Tina) and Tina Griffin (Anthony); her brother Bill Hicks (Judy); her grandchildren, Carter Hooks, Philip Griffin, Alaina Hooks, Lindsay Neal and Jordan Inman; and her great grandchildren, Lennon and Lincoln. She is also survived by relatives and beloved friends.

In lieu of flowers donations can be sent to First Baptist Church, 405 N. Main St., High Point NC 27260 in memory of Mrs. Hooks.

Jake Kanoy wrote a sympathy message

“Janice is on the far right in this photo, one of the few I have showing her. The others are her first cousins except in the center is our aunt Barbara Lois. One good thing I remember was that more than 25 years ago my first wife Kay and I, Jake Kanoy, second from right in photo went to Grand Bahama Island with Janice and Jim Hooks and a group from their church. It was a very good week, the kind you remember forever. Janice at a little more than 1 year older than me was kind and caring to all.”
