It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jimmie Lou Black of Davidson, North Carolina, born in Franklin, Georgia, who passed away on October 7, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Benjamin Hill and Lila Kay Hill; her husband Tommy Black; her siblings, Ruby Davis, Ophelia Curry, Willene Savage, W. B. Hill, Marvin Hill, Bill Hill, Jack Hill and Calvin Hill; and her son-in-law Willie Bullins.

She is survived by: her children, Carol Williams, Vickie Bullins, Debbie Leonard (Mike), Mitzi Watford (Ben), Sherri Rheuark Christie Black (Tim) and Thomas (Shorty); her sister Daneze Brinkley; and her grandchildren, Rhonda Lockhart, April Hyatt, Charlotte Shinault, Bryan Leonard, Courtney Simmons, Blaire Sipes, Jenna Rheuark and Tyler Dennis. She is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to Community Home Care & Hospice, 533 S. Fayetteville Street, Asheboro NC 27203 in Jimmie Black's memory.
