He is survived by: his daughter Ashley Hoke of Wade, NC; his grandsons, Sterling and Luka; his parents, Johnny W. Hoke (Sondra) of Mooresville, NC and Gail B. Cantrell (Doug) of Davidson, NC; his sister Angela G. Hoke of Davidson, NC; his stepsiblings, Leslie Gerwitz (Karl) of Mooresville, NC, Thomas Cantrell of Phoenix, AZ and Todd Cantrell of Browns Mills, NJ; and his sibling's children, Austin Lewis of Danville, VA and Whitney Lewis of Charlotte, NC.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hopewell Baptist Church, 18841 Davidson-Concord Rd, Davidson, NC 28036.
