She was predeceased by: her parents, Leslie Merle and Dorothy Ann Ward. She is survived by: her husband Clifford; her children, Brett (Bernadette Paulsen), Gregg (Colleen Paulsen) and Diane (Scott Gerbereux); her grandchildren, Kathryn, Luke, Claire, Clifford, Grant, Caroline and Connor; and her siblings, Richard Ward and Diane Howard.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the National Brain Tumor Society or the Music Ministry of Davidson United Methodist Church.
