She was predeceased by : her parents, B. F. Wheeler Sr. and George Lee Wheeler; her husband William H Martin; and her siblings, Clara Lee Evans and Wheeler, Jr..

She is survived by : her former life partner W. H. Martin (Bill) of Oviedo; her children, Anne M Hendrix (Skip) of Davidson, NC and George W Martin (Paula) of Edgewater, FL.; her grandchildren, Jeffrey Hendrix, Amy Hendrix Stiel (Don), John Martin (Emley) and Mark Martin; and her great grandchildren, Reid, Mary Peyton Hendrix, Brielle, Owen Stiel and George Martin.
