He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer James Calloway and Ollie Goodman Calloway Beaver; his wife Betty Barbee Calloway; his daughter Donna C. Lentz; and his siblings, Margie C. Jones and J. D. Calloway.

He is survived by: his children, Barbara Weddington, Judy Rae Calloway of Jefferson, NC, Bo Calloway (Pamela) of Concord and Joe Calloway (Lanas) of China Grove. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild; a number of nieces and nephews; and many, many special friends.
